How To Prepare Your Peptide

Follow these steps to reconstitute your lyophilized peptide for research use.

Prepare Environment

Wash hands, wear sterile gloves and safety glasses. Gather: lyophilized peptide vial, sterile syringe, bacteriostatic water, alcohol swabs.

Room Temperature First

Remove peptide and bacteriostatic water from cold storage. Allow both to reach room temperature before reconstituting.

Disinfect Vial Tops

Remove the metal cap and wipe the rubber stopper with an alcohol swab. Repeat for the bacteriostatic water vial. Air-dry 30 seconds.

Add Bacteriostatic Water

Tilt the peptide vial at 45° and slowly inject water down the interior wall. Never inject directly onto the powder. Gently swirl — never shake.

Draw Your Dose
